 Utah's Teen Icon invites mothers, aunts, and grandmothers to help young ladies discover that the true beauty transformation takes place from the inside out. Get ready for a glamorous and inspirational day of fantastic entertainment and insights!!  

Join us for our PREMIERE mother-daughter workshop on Saturday, December 10th, at Thanksgiving Point in the Rose Room from 9am to 4pm. 

Utah's Teen Icon will be giving away a fabulous Mother-Daughter Makeover prize package valued at over $1,000! One lucky mother and daughter will have the chance to win spa treatments, jewelry, high end skin care products, and so much more. Gifts will also be given throughout the workshop, and every guest will receive a gift bag.

Speakers and performing artists include:

Stacie Kingdon is the Founder and Executive Director of Utah's Teen Icon. Stacie has been involved in pageantry for over 11 years both on-stage and behind the scenes as a contestant and titleholder, workshop instructor, judge, recruiter, private coach, assistant stage director, and local director with the Miss USA and Miss America organizations, as well as several other pageant systems. Stacie is an advocate of pageantry as a development opportunity for young ladies and attributes much of her personal and professional success to the pageantry experience. Stacie has worked with children and teens from abusive home environments at the YWCA as a group leader in the children's after-school and teen programs. She has helped to raise thousands of dollars for Children's Miracle Network and has played an active role in many other causes and charities. Stacie is actively involved in her religious community as an advisor for young women. Having experienced the pain of feeling ugly, undeserving, and helpless as a teen, Stacie has devoted her life to the mission of empowering teenage girls to find clarity, power, and joy in their unique identity and purpose. Check out Utah's Teen Icon on Facebook!

Geniveve is a teen pop-rock sister band sharing the message of 'girl power' and 'following your dreams' through music. The group was named after St. Geniveve of France who saved the city of Paris through her visions and intuitions. Marissa 19 years old and Nicol 17, from Salt Lake City, originally performed individually as a country soloist and an R&B soloist until they realized that joining forces and singing together was not only more powerful but way more fun! Geniveve has performed in numerous venues across the state of Utah, recently singing the National Anthem for over 10,000 soccer fans as Real Salt Lake competed for the 2011 Rocky Mountain Cup. Tara Starling has been a celebrity hair and makeup artist in the Hollywood film and television industry for over 15 years, working on some of the world's top actors, musicians, and athletes. She has lent her talents to over 40 films, many of which have garnered Emmys, MTV Music Awards, People's Choice Awards, and Best Picture titles at film festivals the world over. Jessie Funk holds a leadership certification from the University of Notre Dame and has shared her inspiring message of the power of confidence and leadership with thousands of people from across the United States and even into Europe, Canada, and Africa. She has released five solo albums, published five books, has toured 36 states with the Broadway musical "Footloose," has performed for former Vice-President Dick Cheney, as an opening act for Donny Osmond, Josh Grayson, and Billy Dean and she has also been hired for hundreds of recording sessions as a studio vocalist including songs heard on TV's "America's Got Talent" and "The Biggest Loser." Jessie has also been a professional speaker for eight years and that passion has lead her to start a national non-profit organization called "The Ivy Girls Academy," a confidence and leadership program for teen girls.
